貪愛是生死之本，宜開為二，輕者為上界之愛，重品為欲界之貪，初以明上界之愛，今次辨欲界之貪也。

Greedy craving is the root of saṃsāra, so it is appropriate to open it into two: the lighter is the craving of the upper realms, and the heavier grade is the greed of the desire realm. First, the craving of the upper realms was explained, and now next the greed of the desire realm is distinguished.
