「長者大富」下，第二、頌賜車。長行前明等賜，後辨大車。今七行前頌大車，後半行頌等賜，蓋是轉勢說法也。「以眾寶物造諸大車」者，說如來萬德作大乘之名，故言以眾寶物造諸大車。

From "The elder is exceedingly wealthy" downward, the second part versifies bestowing the carriages. The prose previously clarified the equal bestowal and subsequently explained the great carriages. Now, in seven lines, it first versifies the great carriages, and the latter half line versifies the equal bestowal; this is changing the presentation to explain the Dharma. In "fashioning various great carriages with many precious substances", speaking of the myriad virtues of the Tathāgata constitutes the name of the Mahāyāna; hence it says "fashioning various great carriages with many precious substances".
