一乘是極樂之法，謗於至理違彼極樂，故招極苦報也。以理是常樂，謗於常樂故招常苦報。但罪是虛妄，故終有出期也。

The ekayāna is the teaching of ultimate bliss. Slandering the ultimate principle contradicts that ultimate bliss, and therefore it invites the retribution of ultimate suffering. Because the principle is eternal bliss, slandering eternal bliss invites the retribution of eternal suffering. However, because sins are illusory, there will eventually be a time of release.
