《涅槃》今欲收一切法皆入佛法、破諸外道，自言有法；今令始行之人專心道門故，不念外道典籍也。
The Nirvāṇa [Sūtra] now intends to subsume all dharmas into the Buddha's Dharma and refute the externalists who claim to possess the Dharma themselves; here, in order to make beginners concentrate their minds on the gateway of the Way, it teaches not contemplating the externalist scriptures.
