6.24

若據門外無菩薩索，若通論門內約疑情者，昔說有三今說無三，菩薩以無徵有亦有索也。

If considered outside the gate, there is no bodhisattva who requests. But if discussed broadly inside the gate in terms of the state of doubt: formerly it was said there are three, and now it is said there are no three; when bodhisattvas question the former existence based on the present nonexistence, there is also a requesting.
