「有五百人止住其中」，第三、明宅中人。則五道眾生止住無常無我不淨舍內，明可傷之甚也。

"There were five hundred people dwelling within it" is the third, elucidating the people within the house. That is, the sentient beings of the five paths dwell within the house of impermanence, non-self, and impurity, elucidating that it is exceedingly lamentable.
