永仁甲午夷則二八嫡胤道尊大姊妙法、同紀氏女孫女藤氏，此昆弟勠力刊當卷《義疏》，適當先妣十三之遠辰，以擬丁蘭木母之至孝，乃至蠢蠢含靈同會如如妙理而已。

In the yizhe month of the jiawu year of the Einin era, on the twenty-eighth day, the legitimate successor Dōson, elder sister Myōhō, together with Lady Fujiwara, female grandchild of the Ki clan—these siblings exerted their strength to carve this fascicle of the Commentary on the Meaning, precisely on the distant thirteenth anniversary of their late mother, modeling after Ding Lan's utmost filial piety toward the wooden mother, extending to all wriggling sentient beings joining together in the wondrous principle of suchness.
