8.320

後偈文云「今為汝說實，汝所得非滅，為佛一切智，當發大精進」，此因到也。汝證一切智乃是真實滅，謂果到也。

A subsequent verse says: "Now I tell you the real: / What you have attained is not extinction. / For the sake of the Buddha's omniscient knowledge, / You must arouse great diligence." This is reaching in cause. Your witnessing omniscient knowledge is true extinction—this refers to reaching in fruition.
