「我亦復如是」下，頌第三、合譬。上有三：初、說大乘譬，第二、中途說小乘譬，第三、後還說大乘譬。今具頌之。初半行，頌第一、初說大乘譬。「見諸求道者」，合第二、中途說小譬，上文有三：一、知機；二、說教；三、得益。初行，頌第一；次行，頌第二；「既知到涅槃」，頌第三、後還說大譬。上有二：一、知機；二、說教。半行，頌第一即兼頌上第三得益，三行半，頌第二。

From "I also am like this" onwards, the verses summarize the third [part]: the application of the parable. Above there were three parts: first, preaching the parable of the Mahāyāna; second, midway preaching the parable of the Hīnayāna; third, subsequently returning to preach the parable of the Mahāyāna. Here they are summarized in full. The first half-verse summarizes the first part: initially preaching the parable of the Mahāyāna. "Seeing all those who seek the path" applies the second part: midway preaching the parable of the lesser [vehicle]. In the text above there were three parts: first, knowing their capacities; second, preaching the teaching; third, attaining benefit. The first verse summarizes the first part; the next verse summarizes the second part. "Knowing they have reached nirvāṇa" summarizes the third part: subsequently returning to preach the parable of the great. Above there were two parts: first, knowing their capacities; second, preaching the teaching. Half a verse summarizes the first part, which simultaneously summarizes the third part above, attaining benefit; three and a half verses summarize the second part.
