8.88

「雨之所潤」下，頌第五、受潤譬。無善眾生令其生善，如乾地普洽；有善根者令其增長，如藥木等並茂。

From 'Moistened by the rain' downward versifies the fifth [section], the parable of receiving moisture. Causing sentient beings devoid of good to generate good is like the dry land being universally soaked; causing those with good roots to grow is like medicinal herbs and trees flourishing together.
