二者、就《法華經》自明近遠。若稟《法華》未生三慧則去佛為遠，若生三慧此則為近也。

Second, explaining near and far within the Lotus Sūtra itself: if one receives the Lotus Sūtra but has not yet generated the three kinds of wisdom, then one is far from the Buddha; if one generates the three kinds of wisdom, then one is near.
