The first passage has two parts: first, clarifying the light illuminating one direction; next, taking the remaining nine directions as an example. As for why he emitted the light from the white curl: above, he revealed the expedient vehicle and the real vehicle; now, he reveals the expedient body and the real body. In the past, the two expedients obscured the two reals, metaphorically like defilement and darkness. Now, abrogating both expedients and mutually revealing both reals, the meaning is already made distinct, and therefore he expresses it with the white curl; hence he only emits light from the white curl. Above, he clarified that the Dharma that is ridden is non-dual; now, he distinguishes that the dharmakāya that can ride is uniquely one; hence he only emits a single light. Both the Dharma and the person are the Middle Way; hence he emits light from between his eyebrows in both cases. Since it is the Middle Way, both are wondrous; therefore there are the wondrous Dharma and the wondrous person. Next, taking the remaining nine directions as an example is as in the text.
