9.39

「迦葉汝已知」下，第三段，命迦葉令宣記。以無有二乘唯有一乘，一切聲聞皆當作佛，命之宣記意在於此。

From "Kāśyapa, you already know..." downward is the third section: ordering Kāśyapa to proclaim the prophecies. Because there are not two vehicles but only the one vehicle, and all śrāvakas shall become Buddhas, the intention in ordering him to proclaim the prophecies lies in this.
