Tripiṭaka Master Paramārtha says: "Not having attained any noble dharma at all, yet relying on false dharmas to give rise to pride, is called wrong pride. If one has attained a minor dharma, such as attaining the four dhyānas, and claims it to be ultimate, this is called overweening pride."
