後章辯果為成前因，以行一乘之因得壽量之果，故舉果成因、以因為宗。

The later section distinguishes the effect in order to accomplish the preceding cause; by practicing the cause of the ekayāna, one attains the effect of the life-span. Therefore, it brings up the effect to accomplish the cause, taking the cause as the central theme.
