了眾生與佛本來不二，即不見佛為所念、眾生為能念，故內外並忘緣觀俱寂，故名無憶也。

When one realizes that sentient beings and the Buddha are originally non-dual, one does not see the Buddha as that which is recollected, nor sentient beings as that which recollects. Hence internal and external are both forgotten, and conditions and contemplation are both tranquil; therefore, it is called 'no recollection.'
