10.168

解妨者，為以一手摩諸菩薩頂，為諸菩薩各一手摩耶？答：一手一時，神力大故。各一手摩，妙用周故。然諸菩薩各見獨摩，由此深心依言領受。

Resolving difficulties: Did he rub the crowns of all the bodhisattvas with a single hand, or did he rub them each with a hand? Answer: With a single hand at a single time, because of the greatness of his divine power; rubbing each with a hand, because the marvelous functioning is pervasive. Yet all the bodhisattvas individually saw him rubbing their heads alone, and on this account they reverently accepted it with deep minds according to his words.
