贊曰：三啟白。初白前事，後白請往。初文有三：一論佛在。二得總持三聞勝法。「甄迦羅」等者，《俱舍論》第十二卷說「數有六十，忘失餘八。以十漸積至第十六名矜羯羅，第十七名大矜羯羅，第十八名頻跋羅，第十九名大頻跋羅，第二十名阿芻婆，第二十一名大阿芻婆。」此總三種，即是十六、十八、二十數也。

The Eulogy says: Third, addressing his parents. First he addresses previous matters, and afterward he requests to go. The first passage has three parts: first, discussing the Buddha's presence; second, attaining dhāraṇī; third, hearing the supreme Dharma. As for "kiṃkara" and so forth: the twelfth fascicle of the Abhidharmakośa-śāstra states, "The numbers are sixty, having forgotten the other eight. Increasing by tens progressively, up to the sixteenth it is called kiṃkara; the seventeenth is called mahākiṃkara; the eighteenth is called bimba; the nineteenth is called mahābimba; the twentieth is called akṣobhya; the twenty-first is called mahākṣobhya." These three altogether are precisely the numbers sixteen, eighteen, and twenty.
