贊曰：下品第三大段讚經妙德。有四：一挍量勝，二「譬如」下比喻勝，三「此經能救」下作用勝，四「若人得聞此法華經若自書」下無邊勝。此初也。

The Eulogy says: Below is the chapter's third major section, praising the marvelous virtues of the sūtra. There are four [parts]: first, superiority in comparative measurement; second, from 'Just as' downward, superiority in analogies; third, from 'This sūtra can save' downward, superiority in function; fourth, from 'If a person hears this Lotus Sūtra, or writes it themselves' downward, boundless superiority. This is the first.
