10.243

贊曰：此合說也。離苦痛、除眾苦，為初句。解生死縛謂除惑業，為第二句。不合於前充滿其願。或除當苦、現苦、苦因，如次配之。

The Eulogy says: This is the synthesis. Departing from distress and pain, and removing all sufferings, constitute the first clause. Unbinding the fetters of birth-and-death refers to eliminating delusion and karma, constituting the second clause. It does not synthesize the preceding 'fulfilling their vows'. Alternatively, eliminating future suffering, present suffering, and causes of suffering are matched to them in order.
