贊曰：下品第二大段妙音來至。有三：一彼來；二「於是妙音不起于座」下，至此；三「爾時華德菩薩白佛」下，化行。初文復四：一敘德，二請來，三佛誡，四承勅。敘德復四：一勝因早植，二善友夙逢，三般若先圓，四等持已滿。此即初三。

The Eulogy says: Below is the second major section of the chapter, Gadgadasvara arrives. There are three [parts]: first, his departure; second, from 'Thereupon, Gadgadasvara, without rising from his seat' downward, arriving here; third, from 'At that time, Padmaśrī Bodhisattva addressed the Buddha' downward, the performance of transformation. The first passage again has four: first, recounting his virtues; second, requesting his coming; third, the Buddha's admonition; fourth, receiving the command. Recounting his virtues again has four: first, planting supreme causes early; second, encountering spiritual friends long ago; third, perfecting prajñā beforehand; fourth, already fulfilling samādhi (samāpatti). These are the first three.
