贊曰：此鼻及面相。「䐔」音方顯反，應作「匾」字。「䏲」音湯嵆反，應作「𠥶」字。匾𠥶，薄也。「曲戾」魯帝反，乖也。「窊曲」者，「窊」音《玉篇》「於瓜、烏瓜二反，凹也耶下也」。「曲」枉也細小也。

Commentary: This is the nasal and facial characteristics. Bian is pronounced fang-xian in fanqie, and should be written as the character bian. Tie is pronounced tang-ji in fanqie, and should be written as the character tie. Bian-tie means thin and flat. “Crooked and distorted” (qu li): li is pronounced lu-di in fanqie, meaning contrary. “Sunken and crooked” (wa qu): as for wa, the Yupian states: “the two fanqie pronunciations are yu-gua and wu-gua; it means concave or sunken and low.” Qu means bent or tiny.
