贊曰。第四歎印廣陳。有三：初明宿因方遇善友，次釋善友利益之義，後彰善友二子之因。此初也。

The Commentary says: Fourth, praising and confirming, broadly expounding. There are three [parts]: first, explaining that only through past causes does one encounter a kalyāṇamitra; next, explaining the meaning of the benefit of a kalyāṇamitra; last, revealing the cause of the two sons who were kalyāṇamitras. Here is the first.
