贊曰：下發六願中，初總讚佛法、後別發六願。若教若誡二種所行處所皆悉安隱，眾生離惡而攝善故。
The Commentary says: Under making the six vows below, there are first praising the Buddha's Dharma in general, and next making the six vows individually. Whether teachings or admonitions, both places of practice are completely secure and peaceful, because sentient beings leave evil behind and gather the good.
