10.488

贊曰：離眾惡。有五：一厭世榮樂，二不好惡緣，三心善調淨，四滅除煩惱，五少欲修行。不好惡緣中有三：一邪行，二惡業，三外道手筆伎藝也。心善調淨有三：一質直，二正念，三福德。滅除煩惱中有三：一除三毒，二滅嫉妬，三去三慢。少欲修行中亦三：一少欲，二知足，三修普賢行。

Eulogy: Leaving all evils behind has five parts: first, being weary of worldly glory and pleasure; second, disliking evil conditions; third, having a mind that is well-tamed and pure; fourth, eradicating afflictions; fifth, practicing with few desires. Under disliking evil conditions there are three: first, wrong practice; second, evil karma; third, non-Buddhist writings and arts. Under having a mind that is well-tamed and pure there are three: first, straightforwardness; second, right mindfulness; third, merit. Under eradicating afflictions there are three: first, removing the three poisons; second, eradicating jealousy; third, eliminating the three forms of arrogance. Under practicing with few desires there are also three: first, few desires; second, contentment; third, cultivating Samantabhadra's practice.
