受用大因者，論云：「是時王子受勝妙樂，各捨出家，復彼大眾於爾許時不生疲倦心故。」此解受用因中文之大意有二受用：一在家受欲樂，二出家受法樂。此文有四：一示相同今，二唱滅異即，三當成佛記，四現入涅槃。

Regarding the cause of great enjoyment, the treatise says: "At that time the princes enjoyed supremely wondrous bliss, and each renounced [the household life] and left home; furthermore, that great assembly during that entire time did not generate weary minds." In explaining the cause of enjoyment, the general sense of the text has two enjoyments: first, enjoying sensual pleasures at home; second, enjoying Dharma bliss after leaving home. In this text there are four points: first, manifesting marks identical to the present; second, proclaiming extinction differently from the present; third, prophecies of future attainment of buddhahood; fourth, manifesting entry into nirvāṇa.
