贊曰：上委陳同事答，下明古今相即答。自身所𨒬事因也。論云「以文殊自身受勝妙樂故」。此中有二：一即人，二即法。此初也。

The commentary states: Above was the answer detailing the matching affairs; below is the answer clarifying the mutual identity between past and present. It is the cause of matters personally undergone. The treatise says: "Because Mañjuśrī himself experienced supreme and wondrous joy." Here there are two parts: first, identity of persons; second, identity of Dharmas. This is the first.
