贊曰：下有四十三頌，頌前指陳別事古今相即，不頌初二因，後有二頌不入答中。第三語眾勸知，非頌前義，由此還分為二：初四十頌頌指陳別事，後三頌頌古今相即。長行指陳別事有七因分三，今不頌次復有佛等勝妙因，故頌六因，但分為二：初二頌頌讚揚希有，後三十八頌頌委陳同事。讚揚希有中此亦有四：初二句頌時，次二句頌名，次一句頌法，後三句頌生利益。

The commentary states: Below there are forty-three verses, which versify the previous pointing out of specific matters and the identity between past and present; they do not versify the first two causes, and the final two verses are not included within the answer. The third speaks to the assembly to exhort their understanding, and does not versify the previous meaning; thus it is divided into two: first, forty verses versify pointing out specific matters; second, three verses versify the identity between past and present. The prose section pointing out specific matters had seven causes divided into three; now, not versifying the supreme causes such as the subsequent buddhas, it versifies six causes, divided into two: the first two verses versify praising what is rare; the subsequent thirty-eight verses versify detailing matching affairs. Within praising what is rare, there are also four: the first two lines versify the time, the next two lines versify the name, the next line versifies the Dharma, and the last three lines versify producing benefit.
