贊曰：下一頌半頌第五欲聞成也。長行云「二十億菩薩樂欲聞法」，此言「四部」，互相顯故。前據發心，此未發故。

The Commentary says: The following one verse and a half versifies the fifth [point]: the desire to hear being fulfilled. The prose says: 'Two billion bodhisattvas took joy in desiring to hear the Dharma'; here it says 'the four groups,' because they mutually illuminate one another. The former was based on those who had aroused the aspiration [for awakening], whereas these had not yet aroused it.
