贊曰：上頌示相同今，下四頌頌第二唱滅異即。分三：二頌唱滅，一頌誡勸所化，一頌大眾悲惱。此初也。化緣既終便唱今滅。

The Commentary says: The preceding verses showed the signs being identical to those of the present; the four verses below versify the second: the proclamation of extinction being immediately distinct. They are divided into three: two verses proclaim extinction, one verse admonishes and encourages those to be converted, and one verse depicts the sorrow and distress of the great assembly. This is the first. Once the conditions for conversion came to an end, he immediately proclaimed his present extinction.
