贊曰：下頌請說，分二：初一頌頌聲聞弟子請，後二頌頌餘眾請。此初也。稟佛言教聖道方起，教從口出故名口生，簡異胎藏精血成故。

The Commentary says: Below, the verses requesting him to speak are divided into two: first, one verse versifies the request of the śrāvaka disciples; second, two verses versify the request of the remaining assembly. This is the first. Only upon receiving the Buddha's spoken teachings does the noble path arise; since the teachings issue from the mouth, they are called 'born from the mouth,' to distinguish them from being formed from the semen and blood of the womb.
