贊曰：下第二請。論云「示現過去無量佛已教化眾生」。初長行、後偈頌。長行有二：一總請、二堪聞。此請也。

The Eulogy says: Below is the second request. The Treatise says: “Displaying the innumerable buddhas of the past who have already instructed and converted sentient beings.” First comes the prose, and later the verses. The prose has two parts: first, a general request; second, [showing their] capacity to hear. This is the request.
