一品之中今科為四：初二深先唱警察群生之心，次四眾驚疑發揚鶖子之情，三開斯實相啟彼權門，四勸發喜心令欣作佛，品末三行頌是。

Within this single chapter, it is now divided into four sections: first, the two profundities are first proclaimed to alert the minds of all beings; second, the four assemblies are startled and in doubt, giving rise to Śāriputra's feelings; third, opening this true aspect and initiating that provisional gate; fourth, exhorting and inspiring joyful minds, causing them to aspire to become buddhas, which consists of the three lines of verse at the end of the chapter.
