贊曰：下第二段有七頌半，第四令住，中分四：一頌標，一頌釋，半會，一頌勸住。此初也，初設二權，為令究竟入於佛慧住一乘故。

The commentary says: Below, the second section comprises seven and a half verses, the fourth part, causing them to abide. It is divided into four: one verse of proposition, one verse of explanation, half a verse of reconciliation, and one verse of exhortation to abide. This is the first: initially devising the two provisional [vehicles] in order to lead them ultimately to enter the Buddha's wisdom and abide in the Single Vehicle.
