4.126

解脫諸苦息，方名入化城，種智二乘無，故不上羊鹿。又解脫二乘同息苦，彼亦分得與入名，真智種類獨佛圓，雖亦分得不名上，理實無別。又惑障因果彼皆除，解脫化城稱暫入，智障因果彼不滅，二車種智不言登。

Only when all sufferings cease through liberation is it named entering the conjured city; omniscience is absent in the two vehicles, so they do not board the goat and deer carts. Furthermore, liberation equally brings cessation of suffering for both vehicles, and since they also partially obtain it, they are given the name of entering; but the class of true wisdom is uniquely perfected by the Buddha alone, so even though they also partially obtain it, it is not called boarding [the carts], though in real principle there is no distinction. Moreover, the causes and effects of the hindrance of afflictions are entirely eliminated by them, so liberation as the conjured city is called temporary entry; the causes and effects of the hindrance to the knowable are not destroyed by them, so for the two kinds of omniscience they are not said to board.
