The Eulogy says: This reveals the virtue of outward adornment and preaching the real Dharma. The bodily marks and signs dignify and adorn his form, and his physical radiance and wisdom light can further brightly illuminate the two kinds of world: the container world and the world of sentient beings. Due to this, all people revere and honor me, called 'knower of the world' (lokavid). If there were inner defilement, there would not be these outward marks; externally manifesting these marks clarifies that inwardly there is no defilement. Therefore, I now preach the seal of the real mark. 'The seal of the real mark' refers to the principle of the Great Vehicle of the twofold emptiness, because this seal of principle seals the great teaching. The great teaching is definitively superior and real, not expedient, just as in the Small Vehicle three Dharma seals are spoken of to seal and fix the doctrinal teachings.
