一乘之義正是經宗。今且略以五門分別：一出體性，二釋名字，三明說意，四彰差別，五問答辨。

The meaning of the Single Vehicle is precisely the central theme of the sūtra. We now briefly analyze it through five sections: first, presenting the essence; second, explaining the name; third, clarifying the intention of the teaching; fourth, demonstrating the distinctions; and fifth, resolving questions through questions and answers.
