贊曰：下三十頌半頌我亦如是釋迦同，中分二：初二頌標，後二十八頌半廣釋。此初也。初頌今實，後頌昔權，皆令歡喜漸入道故。

The Commentary says: The thirty and a half verses below versify "I, too, am like this," showing that Śākyamuni is the same; divided into two parts: first, two verses indicate the theme; later, twenty-eight and a half verses explain at length. This is the first. The first verse concerns the present real, and the second verse concerns the former provisional, causing them all to rejoice and gradually enter the path.
