贊曰：喻顯二希也。一頌頌法出希，一頌半頌聞讚希，聞法及讚歎過優曇華故。行真法行，則為供養三世佛故，自聽聞、教他聞，合名聞法，慶慰聞此云歡喜，讚歎聞此云讚，行此四種皆真行故。

The Commentary says: This uses parables to reveal two rarities. One verse versifies that the appearance of the Dharma is rare, and one and a half verses versify that hearing and praising are rare, because hearing the Dharma and praising it surpass the udumbara flower. If one practices the practice of the true Dharma, that constitutes making offerings to the buddhas of the three times. Listening oneself and teaching others to listen together are named 'hearing the Dharma.' Rejoicing and being comforted upon hearing this is called 'joy'; praising upon hearing this is called 'praise.' This is because practicing these four kinds are all true practices.
