4.74

贊曰：此釋前標。我滅度後以無良緣善方便誘，諸趣寂中多愚於法，於此等經受持解義乃為難得，不解意故；故我滅後有真二聖，不聞不知但化菩薩。

The Eulogy says: This explains the previous statement. After my passing, because there are no favorable conditions and good expedients to guide them, among those who tend toward quiescence many are ignorant of the Dharma; to receive, uphold, and understand the meaning of sūtras such as this is rare indeed, because they do not understand the intention. Therefore, after my passing, there will be true sages of the two vehicles who do not hear and do not know that he only transforms bodhisattvas.
