4.86

贊曰：法障也。夙造匱法業，法障在身，不堪聞法，故尠少也。「鮮」、「尠」俱得。

The Eulogy says: This is the obstruction of the Dharma. Having previously created karma of lacking the Dharma, the obstruction of the Dharma is present in their bodies, so they are incapable of hearing the Dharma; therefore they are 'scant' (xian). Both *xian* (鮮) and *xian* (尠) are acceptable.
