贊曰：為授記中下第二段諸天供養讚歎迴向，於中有二：初四眾八部供養，後諸天供讚。此初文也。表蒙佛恩如佛衣覆，亦上表當成佛果之時為他說此覆蔭眾生，故以衣供。故下文云「有持此經即為佛衣之所覆」也。

Eulogy: Within the section on bestowing prophecies, this is the second part below, where the devas make offerings, praise, and dedicate merit; within it there are two sections: first, the four assemblies and eight classes make offerings, and second, the devas make offerings and praise. This is the first passage. Presenting clothing signifies being cloaked in the Buddha's grace as if covered by the Buddha's robe; it also signifies that at the time when they achieve the Buddha fruition in the future, they will preach this for others, shielding sentient beings. Therefore, they offer robes. Thus the text below says: 'One who upholds this sūtra is covered by the robe of the Buddha.'
