贊曰：上來欲界具有七苦，現在後世五趣等苦具有三苦，色界唯有壞苦、行苦，有樂、捨故，《對法》引經「色界有壞苦」云入變壞心，無色但有行苦一苦無樂受故。欲界具八苦，上界無前七。

The Commentary says: In the desire realm treated above, all seven sufferings are present; the sufferings of the five destinies in the present and future lives possess the three sufferings. The form realm has only the suffering of change and the suffering of conditioned existence, because pleasure and equanimity are present; the Abhidharma quotes a sūtra stating, "The form realm has the suffering of change," referring to entering a mind of change and deterioration; the formless realm has only the single suffering of conditioned existence, because there is no pleasant feeling. The desire realm is fully endowed with the eight sufferings, while the higher realms lack the first seven.
