贊曰：下明乘之勝德，正乘乘已仍以五根、五力、七覺、八道、四禪、九定、八解脫、三三昧等而自娛樂，便得無量安穩快樂，豈似生死多諸苦耶？

The Commentary says: Below clarifies the supreme virtues of the vehicles. Having actually mounted the vehicles, they furthermore entertain themselves with the five faculties, the five powers, the seven limbs of awakening, the eightfold path, the four dhyānas, the nine attainments, the eight liberations, the three samādhis, and so forth, thereby attaining immeasurable peace, security, and joy. How could this be like saṃsāra, with its abundant sufferings?
