贊曰：此集諦也。「苦因」者集諦，業、煩惱也。「道」者因義，即體；集諦，苦諦因故。又說道諦，斷於集故。

Commentary: This is the truth of origination. “The cause of suffering” is the truth of origination, namely karma and afflictions. “Path” has the meaning of cause, which is the essence; the truth of origination is the cause of the truth of suffering. Furthermore, he expounds the truth of the path to sever origination.
