贊曰：此道諦也。由道證滅，離苦縛故。名證涅槃，得解脫也。

Commentary: This is the truth of the path. By means of the path one realizes cessation, because one is free from the bondage of suffering. It is called realizing nirvāṇa and attaining liberation.
