贊曰：此文有二：一嚴飾身體，三念住為珠瓔；二臣佐供衛，妙願及力為吏民，示現調伏煩惱為僮僕，心持四攝為執白拂，體潔除垢故。不離身心，名侍左右。

Eulogy: This text has two parts: first, adorning his body—the three applications of mindfulness are the pearl necklaces; second, the ministers and assistants guarding and serving him—sublime vows and powers are the officials and commoners; manifesting the subduing of afflictions constitutes the servants and attendants; holding the four means of embracing in mind constitutes holding the white fly-whisks, because their essence is pure and removes defilement. Not departing from body and mind is called 'attending to the left and right.'
