贊曰：令捉。有二：初追、後捉。理本絕言，以言顯之不稱正理。教名傍人，一乘教也。或行可脩名為正主，教且開悟故名傍人。悲心疾起，名為急追。令入大乘順先所習，名曰將還。悲教急化，故言使者疾走往捉。

Commentary: Ordering him to be caught. There are two parts: first, pursuing; second, seizing. The principle fundamentally transcends words; expressing it in words does not fully match the correct principle. The teaching is called a 'bystander'; it is the teaching of the Single Vehicle. Alternatively, practice that can be cultivated is called the principal master, while the teaching, provisionally opening and awakening [him], is called a 'bystander.' Compassion swiftly arising is called 'hasty pursuit.' Causing him to enter the Great Vehicle in accordance with what he previously practiced is called 'bringing him back.' The hasty transformation by compassionate teaching is why it says 'the messenger ran swiftly to seize him.'
