贊曰：喻見取也。其頭如山、咽喉極小如針許大，不堪受食；見取亦爾，執自見等為因為勝謂大如山，不受他見如針極小。

The Commentary says: This is a metaphor for attachment to views. Their heads are like mountains and their throats are extremely small, only the size of needles, incapable of receiving food; attachment to views is also like this: clinging to one's own views, etc., as the cause and as supreme, they consider them large like mountains, but unable to accept the views of others, they are extremely small like needles.
