贊曰：此擬問答。彼設若問修行何法？答言除糞，斷煩惱也。修行大乘如作寶器，學小乘者猶如除糞，不但行能斷惑、教亦助斷。借威勢故，故言供作。

Commentary: This projects the dialogue. If he asks what dharma is to be practiced, they reply 'clearing away dung,' which means severing defilements. Cultivating the Great Vehicle is like crafting precious vessels; studying the Small Vehicle is like clearing away dung. Not only can practice sever delusion, but the teaching also assists in severing it; relying on its prestige and power is why it says 'work together.'
